First application

The proposals aim to deliver a state-of- the-art health, diagnostics and wellness clinic, offering a full range of facilities to support personal health improvement. This facility will be run by healthcare provider HCA Healthcare or equivalent.

Earlier this year, our planning application seeking to change the use of the site from offices to a healthcare, diagnostics and wellness facility was granted planning permission by Rushmoor Borough Council. This followed extensive public consultation in 2023, as well as discussions with the Council’s planning officers and members. 

We are now proposing a second planning application for the site, which will see a number of small changes made to the previous submission.

New, updated application

Our second planning application for the site will see a small number of amendments made to the originally permitted scheme. This includes: 

• A new, enhanced entrance comprising a ground floor podium linking all four wings of the facility, and open to the south outdoor area 

• The podium will include a reception space with food and beverage areas, lounge, restaurant and bar

• The Wellness restaurant will be relocated to the ground floor, next to the reception 

• The vehicle drop-off area will be redesigned so it reaches the main entrance 

• Improvements will be made to the Wellness Zen Garden, including an external Wellness pool and several Zen Garden Treatment Pods

• Use Class C1 accommodation/associated bedroom facilities also provided, which is being explored.
